Description:
ROLE PURPOSE:
The Senior Manager, Digital Research has day-to-day responsibility for all activities related to metrics and primary research for the Owned Stations digital properties, including our local news websites, social platforms, mobile websites and mobile apps.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Develop and manage regular and ad hoc analyses for site producers that provide insights for driving improvements and business decisions
* Produce traffic estimates and accompanying rationale for sales, finance and planning
* Coordinate all aspects of Omniture implementations to ensure traffic is accurately reported, working with the technology, editorial and product development teams
* Provide strategic insights for both sales and editorial sides of the digital businesses
* Respond to ad hoc metrics-related queries as necessary
* Conduct web analytics trainings as necessary
* Manage 1 digital analyst
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor's degree
* Minimum 3 years of web analytics experience
* Expert knowledge of Omniture reporting tools and implementation, proficiency with comScores Media Metrix and Video Metrix as well as * Nielsens NetRatings and VideoCensus. Superior skills with Excel
* Quantitative analysis skills
