The Associate Games Analyst will be responsible for report development for Arkadium's Online Game Arenas and Social Games. In addition, this role is responsible for making recommendations to optimize game performance and produce case studies showcasing improvements. This role is client facing and will be the voice of online game Arena performance.
The Analyst will report to the VP of Marketing and will contribute value to both internal teams and external clients at Arkadium.
Responsibilities
Create weekly and monthly reports using various reporting tools for both social games and online game Arenas to be used by management, game producers, game designers and clients
Present findings to clients for online game Arenas and potentially Social Games
Maintain a list of game changes across social games and game arenas that impact analytics
Use analytics to report on online game Arena effectiveness, create case studies on game changes and help with online game Arena related documentation
Generate recommendations for future online game Arena enhancements
Manage top performing game list to be used by Business Development and Game Designers
Manage the creation of specifications for implementation of Google Analytics and/or similar analytics package to ensure business requirements are tracked
Skills/Qualifications
1-2 years of web analytics experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
Highly organized and capable of juggling multiple projects successfully
Detail oriented, with a passion for digging into data to identify key trends, results, and critical outcomes
Interest in social gaming and growth of industry
Strong presentation skills and ability to present and host a meeting regarding analytics reports and outcomes
Experience in implementing and/or reporting using Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, and/or Coremetrics a plus
SQL/Database experience a plus
Media analytics experience a plus
