We currently seek an experienced Digital Strategist on a full-time basis to provide and guide Internet strategy recommendations. You are self-directed, entrepreneurial, comfortable and confident working in a fast-paced, multidiscipline, collaborative environment. Superior communications, verbal, written, and presentation skills are essential.
Day-to-day duties include responsibility for planning, developing and assisting in executing web and social media marketing programs. S/He will also play an active role in business development, act as evangelist and help develop company-wide perspectives on the use of emerging media, social media, as well as new products and services for the agency.
Responsibilities
• Provide/guide strategy recommendations through understanding clients’ business goals/objectives, brand/target audience insights, market research and all data sources (e.g., web analytics data, acquisition reporting, etc.)
• Bridge site development, marketing/communications and technology concepts/capabilities to provide creative/innovative solutions that will make impact on client ROI
• Champion digital experience and innovation – in and outside of the agency. Develop insights and ideas based on user experience concepts that can inspire creativity, interactive marketing innovation and generate results for agency’s clients
• Identify marketing problems, perform research, analyze trends/results to determine strategic implications, and brief clients, agency partners, and colleagues on digital assignments
• Provide strategic leadership, training and mentoring to multi-disciplinary teams: Account Services, Production, Technology, and Creative teams (UX / IA / Content)
• Collaborate with internal teams to create and implement short and long-term online marketing/e-commerce strategies for our clients; deliverables may include research, strategic briefs, scope and planning documents, and presentations to clients
• Collaborate with creative teams on the conceptual development of UX
• Provide clear creative conceptual direction, motivate/inspire client, account, production, and creative teams
• Develop and implement social media strategies and tactical programs
• Stay current on interactive trends, best practices and digital experiences with an eye towards agency’s client base/portfolio
• Help identify new opportunities for client growth, enforce processes and best practices for clients
Qualifications
• Must have 5+ years of strategic agency or consulting experience related to web development, with focus on site development, usability, SEO, and web analytics
• Experience with online media planning/buying, social media, mobile marketing, and search engine marketing, preferred
• Solid client and account management experience – especially with expertise developing strategic creative solutions/recommendations and plans/tactics for Fortune 500 clients
• Strong analytical, research, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Strong project management, strategic planning, writing and editing skills
• Strong problem solver, able innovate, and able to adapt to new technologies and industry trends
• Able to communicate clearly conceptual creative/technical strategies, trends, and metrics to both technical and business audiences
• Experience in leading market research projects, including competitive analysis and user research
• Able to multi-task, collaborate, and work autonomously
• BA degree, MBA preferred with either, agency, consulting, or operating experience
This is an onsite position.
Permanent hires have full benefits and are eligible for annual bonus. Rates are competitive and commensurate with experience.
